Paris and Flowers

Paris for Christmas was wonderful. One of my favorite cities. "The City of Lights" holds true to it's name.                                                                  My flower paintings are inspired by my  love to garden, spring bulbs are the best.  They are like receiving a present every spring.                            I started growing Orchids  when I was living in Belize, I met the Orchid Man he would visit the Island from the Rainforest with a box of Orchids. The smells were incredible.  My ceramic Conch Shell Sconce was originally designed in my little apartment/studio in Belize.  I needed something to hang on the walls and hold my Orchids.  Most of my paintings are on 1.5" stretched frames  they are painted on the side with a solid color (Museum Wrap) or the image is painted on the sides ( Gallery Wrap ) No Framing Needed. Please feel free to contact me about commission work.  amybrown@artistamy.com
